Pickwick Landing State Park — Marina, 18-hole championship golf course, lodge, cabins, and trails just down the road in nearby Pickwick Dam.
Shiloh National Military Park — One of the best-preserved Civil War battlefields in the country, with monuments, driving tours, and the Shiloh Indian Mounds along the river.
